Day in the Life

General School Mission

Our goal is to teach responsibility, courtesy, honesty, justice, kindness, and generosity while building lifetime learning developmental experiences and encouraging the talents and gifts of each child. We will fill your child's day with wonder as they draw, play, paint and sing in an atmosphere promoting a warm nurturing environment where they have the freedom to learn and explore. We believe in focusing on the process not product.

A Typical Day

The morning includes circle time that incorporates counting, calendar, weather, and alphabet activities.

Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

We send notes home in children's bags. Most students attend Richardson ISD, which requires that they attend their neighborhood school.

Parents Say They are Encouraged to:

  • Are able to visit the school anytime we want
  • Go on field trips

Modes of Communication

  • Notes
  • Phone Calls
  • Special Meetings
  • Drop-Off
  • Pick-Up

Separation is Handled through:

  • Pre-entry meetings with parents at school

Handling Separation: From the Director

We encourage parents to give a quick hug and kiss and then quickly leave. The longer parents linger, the harder the separtion is on the child.
