Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

We have daily reports for ALL age groups that parents receive at the end of the day, posted lessons plans that our teachers create and a monthly newsletter that includes a calendar of events/activities. Parent-teacher confereces are held at least twice a year or as needed. Teachers develop a profile on each child throughout the school year.

We have a LCD monitor at the entrance for reminders, updates, news, etc. for parents to see when they enter the school.

I will email families with newsletters, first day pictures, updates, etc.

We have Open Houses, Grand Openings planned as well as community events, etc. for our families and the open community.

Parents Say They are Encouraged to:

  • Are able to visit the school anytime we want
  • Receive newsletters

Modes of Communication

  • Notes
  • Phone Calls
  • Voice Mail
  • Email
  • Special Meetings
  • Drop-Off
  • Pick-Up
  • Regular newsletter/printed updates circulated to the whole school

Separation is Handled through:

  • Pre-entry meetings with parents at school
  • Extra staff dedicated to handle separation

Handling Separation: From the Director

This is done on an individual basis as each child will have different needs. The ratios are lower than the Texas state ratios so more one-on-one attention is given. We have a lead teacher and an assistant teacher in each class for more assistance. Myself and the owner are also here daily to assist with any transitions.
