General Approach to Learning: Teacher-Led

Day in the Life

General School Mission

St. Gabriel's mission is to instill in each student a lasting love of learning and lifelong commitment to Christian values. We achieve this mission by educating qualified students in a challenging, yet nurturing, environment that fosters character formation through scholastic excellence and physical, emotional, and spiritual growth.

St. Gabriel's Oath
I will embrace the virtue of prudence; it gives me the judgment to make good choices.
I will exhibit the virtue of temperance; it enables me to control my actions;
I will display the virtue of justice; it teaches me to treat others fairly;
I will model the virtue of fortitude; it gives me the courage to do what is right.
I ask you, God, for the Grace to live these virtues daily.

Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

St. Gabriel parents are a close-knit, organized, active parent community that comes together for a wide variety of reasons including helping teachers with special projects, volunteering for community service projects, and organizing intimate as well as large social gatherings, but perhaps their most important role is in welcoming new families to the school. Often parents choose a school and find a community, and this is the place where lifelong family friendships begin. Having the help and support of other parents can ease the transition to a new city, neighborhood or school. Learn more about our new family mentor program and St. Gabriel's PSA.
