General Approach to Learning: Play-Based

Day in the Life

General School Mission

Established in 1968, the Child Development Center has earned and maintained a reputation as one of the foremost early childhood programs in the nation.
We recognize that the sum of a child's growth is comprised of many dimensions. That is why we strive to attend to each aspect of your child's development: emotional, social, cognitive, spiritual and physical.
Development of our curriculum occurs around age-appropriate skills and concepts within a framework of topics of interest to children. Children engage in hands-on experiences with selected learning materials that enable individual growth to occur. As understanding and skills develop, the teacher increases the difficulty and complexity of activities.
