Students work with each other to teach new skills, while the teacher is constantly observing the needs of students and responding with activiteis that meet their individual need and interests.

Separation is Handled through:

  • Pre-entry meetings with parents at school
  • Parents in classroom early on

Handling Separation: From the Director

We leave this decision up to the parent as they know their child best. Often times a parent may need to attend Mother's Day Out with their child for a few days before the child is adjusted.
