Philosophy & Approach

School Philosophy

General Approach to Learning: Play-Based

From the Director:

Our school has chosen High Reach Learning, an award-winning research-supported curriculum, to use in the classrooms. Through this curriculum, your child will experience a well-rounded balance of learning activities and many opportunities to develop important skills needed to be successful in school.

Quality of Teaching

Individualized Teaching: From the Director

The pre-K curriculum is adjusted to fit each child. Children who are excelling are seperated into small groups and given more challenging work.
Children having trouble are able to work one on one with the teacher, speech therapists and others to achieve set goals before kindergarten.

Day in the Life

General School Mission

We make the development of each child's positive self-concept a priority. Through individualized learning, we supply the tools our students need to succeed in a lifetime of learning. With a developmentally appropriate curriculum, a wide variety of organized sport actvities, hands-on experiences, play-based learning, Spanish lessons, and gardening, we strive for the enrichment of the whole child. In this environment, children are able to develop their own learning experiences and skills including language, math, social, science, and motor.
