From the Director:

The vision of our program is to train these young minds in the first steps of a formal education with a solid Christian foundation while stimulating their natural curiosity to learn. This vision is achieved through creative teaching methods in subjects including art, computer education, creative movement and music, and fun with food. Age-appropriate computer classes augment classroom learning by reinforcing phoneme awareness, math concepts, and Bible stories in a fun, enriching environment. Creative movement and music classes help students develop large motor skills and introduce them to musical instruments while fostering a love of music through praise and worship. Each week the children are introduced to new foods and creative ways to prepare food with our fun with food time. Art is an important part of learning, and various media are used to introduce children to a world of creativity and self-expression.

Quality of Teaching

Individualized Teaching: From the Director

We use the A Beka program, an accelerated Christian curriculum, as the primary academic, supplemented with special units on educational themes such as community helpers, Texas, transportation, seasons, Jesus is born, bugs, jungles, oceans, weather, space, children around the world, bears, love, my America, and many others.

Day in the Life

General School Mission

"Our basic curriculum for the lower school is A Beka, an accelerated Christian curriculum. The upper school uses a variety of resources, many of which are Christian publishers, to offer our students a challenging curriculum as expected in a college preparatory school. We have a full academic upper school program which includes Advanced Placement and Honors courses. All instructors infuse Bible truths within each discipline taught"

A Typical Day

Super Science: Early Childhood Education teacher, Jamie Shepherd, unveils the wonders of God’s creation through science.

In class, students explore and enjoy hands-on experiments to inspire them to love science. In this new class to ECE, Super Science seeks to expand students’ understanding of science and provide them with a solid foundation.

The goal of Super Science is to be a fun and interesting time that the children will look forward to throughout the year, where they will begin to look at all of God’s creations as intricate and beautiful aspects of life.
