Individualized Teaching: From the Director

Teachers give children one on one instruction when needed. Special assignments are done in class and sent home when necessary. Parent/teacher conferences are held twice per school year.

6:30-8:00 Student Arrival and breakfast
8:00-8:30 Diapering and Personal Hygiene
8:30-10:30 Academic instruction and teacher/child interactions
10:30-11:00 Diapering and Personal Hygiene
11:00-12:00 LUNCH
12:00-12:30 Diapering and Personal Hygiene
12:30-2:00 Nap time
2:00-2:30 Snack time, Diapering and Personal Hygiene
2:30-5:30 Academic instruction, outdoor activities and teacher/child interactions
5:30-6:00 Depature

Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

Daily reports and weekly reports are sent home with children. Three times per year parents receive developmental checklist that details their children's progress. Twice per year children aged 1yr-5yrs receive a report card.


Separation is Handled through:

  • Pre-entry meetings with parents at school
  • Small group sessions
  • Extra staff dedicated to handle separation
  • Parents in classroom early on
  • Abbreviated schedule at start of school year

Handling Separation: From the Director

Parents are allowed up to 5 free transition days for their child before they actually start child care. These days are set aside for a parent and child to spend time in the classroom together for up to three hours with the children and teacher before the child's first day. Also children who show resistence to childcare are placed on an abbreviated schedule for their first 5 days of school/chilcare.
