The teachers are caring and warm, yet do a great job of being firm and setting boundaries. The daily/weekly/monthly learning themes are fun for the kids. (They learn without even realizing it!) Even though the daycare is run by the hospital, they also allow families from the general community to enroll. My daughter attended Mercy CDC since she was 18 months, and is now 5 1/2 years old and in kindergarten. She still looks forward to going back to Mercy on school vacation days. They have a program for school age children through 8 years. Because it is part of the Mercy hospital, their support system is great. They have daily lunches provided by the cafeteria, the toys get cleaned/disinfected regularly, and the nursing students also visit the daycare as part of their study program. I highly recommend this daycare to anyone considering it.
