Philosophy & Approach

School Philosophy

General Approach to Learning: Play-Based

From the Director:

"We use the Nobel Learning Communities' Links to Learning curriculum. Links to Learning is an integrated series of programs that incorporate preparation for reading and math as well as building social skills and confidence. Links to Learning also links parents to what their children are learning by providing regular communications and suggestions for how to continue the learning at home. "

Quality of Teaching

Individualized Teaching: From the Director

"Our teachers are committed to developing lifelong learners, and understand each child's individual needs and learning style. They take the time to bring the best out of each child. We ensure our teachers perform at the highest level and are kept current in the latest teaching techniques. We accomplish this by sponsoring professional development days, and using internal and external trainers and consultants. Our principals also strive for self-improvement and participate in our annual national Principals' Conference."

Day in the Life

General School Mission

We expertly combine academic learning experiences and structured play in a fun, safe and nurturing environment. We engage children in a variety of ways that help them discover, explore and learn to their fullest potential. Children are given plenty of room here for their bodies and minds to grow. After all, both are growing at the same time. This is their introduction to a lifetime of learning, and it's a journey that should start out on the right foot.

A Typical Day

We balance playtime with structured learning experiences that include preparation for reading and math, beginning Spanish, computers and a wellness program. Our preschool provides a safe, nurturing environment, and our caring teachers are dedicated to creating lifelong learners. Our Links to Learning Curriculum is an integrated series of programs that take advantage of a child's readiness to learn through fun, challenging and meaningful activities. We link parents to their child's classroom experiences by providing a monthly summary of their child's work and suggestions to continue the learning at home. It's part of a communication progress that keeps parents truly involved.

Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

"Our preschools encourage a highly productive partnership between teachers, principals and parents. As a partner, you'll have many opportunities to communicate with us about your child's progress."
