From the Director:

Circle Time is predominantly teacher-led instruction and table activities are set as play-based with some structure. We use a Tell, Show, Do method of teaching.

Our low student to teacher ratio allows our students to get lots of individual attention from our well qualified staff. Teachers have BA in Early Childhood and Elementary Education with minors in Spanish and Music

Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

Open House introduces families to our staff and get an overview of learning goals. Parent-teacher meetings are available any time, parent education classes are made available through the Horizon Schools and Church. Connection to services/activities in the community are available and encouraged ongoing. Quartly Conferences are used to partner with families to summarize student learning and for goal setting.

Handling Separation: From the Director

Extra staff is dedicated to handle separation through redirecting, holding, hugs, and calming conversation. Parents can call in to talk to students and drop by for a visit or lunch.
