Are handled extraordinarily well in a way that not only gives me confidence in the safety of my child but also reassures me that my child (and his/her peers) are learning the early skills needed to socialize effectively with one another

This Reggio Emilia preschool is truly an undiscovered treasure in Portland. The teacher's enthusiasm, energy and sheer joy for teaching her students creates an environment that allows each child to become confident in the Italian language and in all of their other activities. The small student, teacher ratio (6:1) gives each child plenty of time with the teacher, and the teacher is native Italian and really knows what she it doing. GREAT, GREAT PROGRAM! I highly recommend you try it! It's also at a brand, new facility with an awesome inside and outside play area.
