From the Director:

I do not pressure the children when it comes to my source of teaching. I teach in groups and I teach as individuals. My children have all excelled and enjoy the rest of their classmates.

Quality of Teaching

Individualized Teaching: From the Director

I work with the children as a group and I also do one on one. I take time for the children to feel comfortable about their environment and confident in themselves. we may work on something several times until I see the child or all of the children understand before we move onto any new subject.

Day in the Life

General School Mission

We will go to school and make our parents proud by playing, learning, growing and loving our friends as if there were no tomorrow.

A Typical Day

We go to school and greet our Teacher along with the gang, we prepare ourselves at first for nothing but games. We laugh and play our hearts content, just to prime our minds not to forget. We learn the ways of life because Mrs. Leslie is the additon that my mommy and daddy says is the very light that will guide me through my day before the night. We leave for the day and say good bye, only to arrive the next morning light.

Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

I communicate with my parents in person after school hours durning conferences, through newletters, announcements at the entry door and through calendars.

Separation is Handled through:

  • Parents in classroom early on

Handling Separation: From the Director

At the start of preschool we have the parents with the child or children visit for a few hours in a day and show the child/children around the facility as well as show and demonstrate that the parents like and are excited about the new school. I encourage the child to visit with me about the likes and dislike of a new school and display to them the things they listed as far as their likes to see that there is alot in common and reason to enjoy the new school. I introduce the staff and or the children that are there.
