"God's ways of measuring success are different from the world's ways. We acknowledge success by recognizing students who demonstrate Godly character. 1 Samuel 16:7 says, "The Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart." Just
because a student is a good athlete, a fine scholar, good-looking and popular does not mean they are committed to following Christ.
“Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect; but I follow after, that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ… I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:12, 14. If you must compare yourself with another, compare yourself to Christ. Let Him mold and fashion your life into the full potential, the
divine original He intends. Become yourself, distinct from all others, as you allow Christ to control your life.
