"In summary, the entire process of education is understood to be a means by the Holy Spirit to bring the student into fellowship with God, to help him/her become strong and mighty in spiritual maturity, to assist him/her in developing a Christian mind, to enable him/her to think God's thoughts after Him, and to help the student achieve Christ-like character qualities so that he/she can fulfill God's total purpose for his/her life, personally and vocationally. He/She is taught the Bible so he/she may understand God as well as his/her own true nature and function as God's image-bearer. He/She is developed and related to God as a whole personspiritually, mentally, physically, and socially. He/She is taught to see all truth as God's and to integrate it with and interpret all learning by God's Word. He/She experiences a challenging academic curriculum that both encourages him/her to excel and that scrutinizes its disciplines through the lens of scripture. He/She is educated as an individual with his/her own unique abilities and personality, who learns to live and work with others, and who exercises leadership at home, in the church, and as a citizen, in a changing society. He/She interacts with and is taught by parent and teacher models who have committed themselves to Christian-theistic foundations of education and are integrating their perspective within their lives."
