Day in the Life

General School Mission

"Our concept is to answer the needs of children and their families in a quality child care and educational setting with positive experiences, which channel and foster the child's development toward a productive adult. We see the parent as the first teacher and our role is offering complementary support and understanding.
At Creative Child Care, we provide first for the child. We believe we can provide all the good things of an ideal home environment. We strive never to lose sight of the personal attitude of tender, loving care.
Staff members realize that children need freedom; however they also need the safety of limits or boundries, which are firm but flexible enough to allow for trial and error. To learn, children must be able to progress at their own pace and style within the boundries of security and safety. We realize that openness and freedom are conducive to a quality child care program. In recognizing the freedom of the individual in the group, we encourage the satifaction of curiosity by providing opportunity, within a safe environment, make mistakes and find the answers for themselves about the world they will inherit.
Children need to express their desires, fears, happiness, frustration and needs without embarassment or fear. We want our program to reinforce the positive aspect of the child's rights and the child's self-worth.
Children will benefit from the experiences of a quality child care program through experiences with their peers and adults. These experiences they take with them to enrich their school years and their adulthood, contributing in a positive way to their feelings of themselves, their concern for others, and the society in which they will live."
