"My dream of the ideal Early Childhood Center is to include a well-rounded, academically challenging curriculum, degreed and certified staff, special events and programs combined with all the love, patience, security and peacefulness that children of stay-at-home Moms experience. Almost Home is the fulfillment of that dream!
My name is Toni Poling. I graduated from The Ohio State University in 1990 with a Bachelor's degree in Education. I went on to teach high school and middle school and to adminstrate preschool and elementary school programs. I am the proud Mom of two children and I am the owner and founder of Almost Home.
Almost Home has, very literally, been built with a sense of purpose and caring from the very beginning. The look and feel of home is exuded throughout the center and a feeling of unconditional love and support for children is perpetuated. Classroom sizes are limited to 10 children to maintain a peaceful environment for play and learning. Our infant and toddler programs are second-to-none, maintaining a 1:3 ratio in our newborn rooms and a 1:5 ratio in our toddler program. Our focus is on love and care and the happy development of your infant. Degreed teachers prepare fun and creative lesson plans for preschoolers to teach letter and number recognition, phonics, counting and writing skills, self-help skills, and friendly manners.
