Day in the Life

General School Mission

A Typical Day

"Free Play - The children explore areas of the room and participate in activities of their choice. At this time social skills will be developed.

Circle Time - The children gather to say morning prayer, sing songs, discuss the weather, calendar, theme of the week, or listen to a story.

Snack Time - The children practice proper hand washing techniques in preparation for snack. A nutritious snack is provided for each child. After snack the students assist in the clean-up.

Outdoor/Indoor Play - The children are provided with various play equipment and participate in activities which focus on large motor skills.

Learning Centers/Classroom Time - Children will have access to the computers, participate in art and learning activities, or visit the library for story time.

Language Time - The children will end their preschool day with songs and story time. This is also time for review of what was discussed and learned that morning.
