General School Mission

"At the Nursery School at Habonim children's laughter rings loudly through hallways rich with Jewish heritage. Our small, nurturing school, located in a synagogue on the Upper West Side, just steps from Central Park, opens students up to that heritage. Our dedicated teachers provide your child with an enriching, stimulating, well-rounded early childhood education. Whether they are having 'Challah Day' in our kitchen, exploring our indoor and outdoor spaces, or making new friends, your child's development will evolve and unfold in our colorful classrooms. Children ages 2, 3 and 4 grow from hands-on, skill-building activities under the guidance of supportive and gifted teachers who emphasize the exciting aspects of learning while preparing them for kindergarten."
