Philosophy & Approach

Day in the Life

General School Mission

"The first few years of a child's education are critical; they form the foundation for a lifetime of learning. The Brotherhood Synagogue Nursery School offers a nursery school program intended to nurture and guide young children as they grow cognitively, socially and emotionally. We are dedicated to respecting the uniqueness of each child and to fostering a school community that values basic trust and open communication. Jewish traditions, values, and experiences are central to the program. Children experience the joy of Shabbat and Jewish holidays through singing, dancing, story telling, cooking and artwork. Jewish content and values are woven into the daily school curriculum."
