General Approach to Learning: Play-Based

From the Director:

Our classes follow a developmentally appropriate curriculum designed to prepare and challenge each student through projects, games, and activities. Their time with us will include exposure to simple science, math concepts, pre-reading skills, physical challenges, music, social competence, and biblical principles of love and kindness. We also create an environment to expand their ability to focus, complete tasks, and increase attention span.

General School Mission

Our philosophy is quite simple: When children feel genuine love and respect from their teachers, success in all areas of development is propelled forward. There are many and varied methods and theories in the field of early childhood development, most of which look great in a text book. In reality, if a child does not feel important and loved, progress and development will be stunted. Our experience at Little Blessings has proven that academic excellence AND spiritual nurturing go hand-in-hand. Woven through everything we do is a firm foundation of Christian principles. That’s where we are different from most other schools; we want to develop their souls as well as their minds!
