-Learn to follow directions, excercise memory through songs, rhymes and routine.
-Learn to take care of toys and classroom items, simple dressing skills, being responsible for their belongings and helping with prep and cleanup of snack.
-Take responsibility for their behavior and beginning to solve interpersonal conflicts. Children are encouraged to voice their concerns to one another before coming to the teacher.
-Broaden their experience through exposure to music, children's songs, puzzles, drawing, coloring, games, fine motor and gross motor activities, children's magazines and books and many field trips throughout the community.
-Practice observing their surroundings through weather, the seasons and nature in the school yard.
-Learn colors, shapes and numbers. Practice pre-writing skills, name recognition and other kindergarten readiness skills
