Day in the Life

General School Mission

Little Mushrooms provides daycare for children between 18 months and 3/12 years old in a warm, loving atmosphere with a low child to teacher (4:1) and a nurturing, experienced and well-trained staff.

Your child's physical safety and welfare are very important to us, as are his or her emotional and developmental needs.

A Typical Day

8-9am Arrival/Free Play

9-9:30am Art/Craft or Story Time

9:30-10am Circle Time (Songs & Checking Attendance)

10-10:15am Snack

10:15-10:30 Diaper Change

10:30-12:00 Outside (Park/Yard)

12-12:30 Lunch

12:30 - 1pm Clean up/Diaper Change/Departure

1-3pm Naptime

3-3:15pm Wake up/Diaper Change

3:15-3:30pm Snack

3:30 - 4pm Arts & Crafts

4-5pm Free Play Outside or Inside

5-5:15pm Clean-up/Diaper Change

5:15-5:30pm Story Time

5:30-6pm Quiet Time/Departure

Home-School Connection: From the Director

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on an annual basis or more frequently if needed. We will discuss your child's progress and development as observed by us in the day care setting during the year. If you have any questions or concerns about your child at any time, please discuss them with us.
