Philosophy & Approach

School Philosophy

General Approach to Learning: Teacher-Led

From the Director:

Some children need structure as well as play. Our curriculum includes music: singing, dancing, and other movement, and instruments such as tambourines, flutes, drums, etc. Good manners are and other socially acceptable behavior is a part of our program as well as outdoor play every day or indoors on bad weather days. Field trips are a part of our curriculum as well as community walks and visits to our community helpers to expose the children to their environment and to the world they live in.

Quality of Teaching

Individualized Teaching: From the Director

Children's individual needs are considered and are not pushed to bounds out of their reach but are paced accordingly. Those who are excelling are given opportunities to challenge their interest. Professional services are recommended for children who may be delayed in areas such as speech, social behavior and cognitive skills.
