Brooklyn Child Care Inc. is a child-oriented center that focuses on the whole child. We look at the child's physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs. The cornerstone of our program is respect. We offer developmentally appropriate activities for the children, as well as an environment that focuses on the individual child.

Home-School Connection: From the Director

Each day, parents receive a description of the days events. There are yearly meetings and evaluations.

Separation

Separation is Handled through:

  • Pre-entry meetings with parents at school
  • Extra staff dedicated to handle separation
  • Parents in classroom early on

Handling Separation: From the Director

Parents are welcome to call and check on their child or view their child from a distance for a few minutes. Parents may not spend the day at the daycare center.
