Individualized Teaching: From the Director

By getting to know the individual's strengths and weakness, we modify our program daily to meet these interests and needs.

Day in the Life

General School Mission

Our mission is to ignite a child's natural learning tendencies through interactive teaching. Through thought-provoking activities and open-ended questioning we provide actual experiences through which a child learns to construct new knowledge rather than passively absorb a static set of facts.

As partners in this process our teachers see their roles as observers and listener, challengers and co-investigators. Countless activities and projects are presented to stimulate, motivate and enhance the learning process.

Separation is Handled through:

  • Pre-entry meetings with parents at school
  • Small group sessions
  • Extra staff dedicated to handle separation
  • Abbreviated schedule at start of school year

Handling Separation: From the Director

Separation occurs with both the parent and child and we have procedures in place to address both needs. If the parent is confident and comfortable with our school, the child will feel this positive energy and be less hesitant and scared to leave them.
