Philosophy & Approach

School Philosophy

General Approach to Learning: Play-Based, Teacher-Led, Montessori

From the Director:

Our school provides a loving nurturing environment which allows our children to experience a "Learn through Play" philosophy. All classrooms are set up with various centers whereby children build their cognitive, social and educational development. Our school also implemented several programs which help build character traits such as sharing, caring, empathy, etc. For older children we implemented a computer-based assessment program which allows us to capture a child's progress and implement daily activities which support their abilities.

Separation is Handled through:

  • Pre-entry meetings with parents at school
  • Small group sessions
  • Extra staff dedicated to handle separation

Handling Separation: From the Director

While seperation is anticipated during the early stages of enrollment, the staff are trained in how to ease the time spent away from the childs usual environment through special attention, Each child will be handled through a seperate low class ratio or by having extra staff admitted to the class so that the child will get individualized time to adjust. While no 2 children are the same, the staff is specially trained to handle such transition issues.
