Philosophy & Approach

School Philosophy

General Approach to Learning: Play-Based, Teacher-Led

From the Director:

We know that every child learns differently and at various paces. By using a variety of methods, we provide each student the experience they need to be active and engaged learners. In the past, educators believed that students were either a tactile, visual or auditory learner. More recent analysis of these findings, have shown that this is not the case. Students learn best when they are exposed to a combination of multiple techniques. We believe that students will make the most of their educational experience by being exposed to sensory, tactile and visual experiences simultaneously. That is why our curriculum focuses on “Enrichment and Engagement.”

Day in the Life

General School Mission

The school takes a very progressive and exciting approach to learning that is demonstrated in the cutting-edge programming it provides Students, whether 2 ½ or 6 will participate in the LDS International Art Exchange program. The program pairs children with students located at schools in cities such as Barcelona and Moscow and allows them to share in one another’s culture by exchanging artwork centered around their world and by sharing ideas and stories through the school teleconferencing technology. The school also prides itself on its programs for busy parents, by offering Table Ready Meals to Go, Parent’s Night Out Events and Eco-Friendly Dry Cleaning Pick-Up and Drop-Off.
