From the Director:

Our program has a combination of centers, table time, cozy time (listening/reading stories with a favorite stuffed animal), music, cooperative play, teachable moments, fine and gross motor activities. It's a very well-rounded program.

Quality of Teaching

Individualized Teaching: From the Director

Our teacher's think outside of the box, as a young child does. The activities promote interactions with one another no matter what the ability level. There's something to be gained out of each activity!

Day in the Life

General School Mission

LEAP provides a positive first educational experience in a nurturing and fun environment. Our activities and interactions are centered on I John 4:8...God is love. Children come into our program brimming with excitement and can't wait to come back!

A developmental music program (Tiny Tunes) is part of our curriculum.

Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

Weekly newsletter are sent home via email and hardcopy. Progress reports are issued in November and April. We encourage parents and family members to participate in our classrooms.

Separation is Handled through:

  • Pre-entry meetings with parents at school
  • Extra staff dedicated to handle separation
  • Parents in classroom early on

Handling Separation: From the Director

Each child handles separation uniquely so we approach separation with compassion and what parent's feel most comfortable.
