Philosophy & Approach

Day in the Life

General School Mission

"Our philosophy is an extension of Soapstone United Methodist Church's mission statement: "to joyfully worship and honor Christ through help, healing, and hospitality." Soapstone Preschool provides an environment where children are encouraged to learn through hands-on activities, to socialize, and to develop a loving relationship with their friends and teachers. The environment includes age appropriate learning centers, reflective of the children's skills, life experiences, and individual needs. Parents and families are a very important part of our school and we welcome them as partners in our preschool community"
