General Approach to Learning: Play-Based

Day in the Life

General School Mission

We are a small preschool that believes in fostering a child's self esteem while preparing them for kindergarten; socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically.

A Typical Day

Children come into the classroom for circle time, which consists of jobs, calendar, events of the day, and open ended conversation. Children then enjoy free play in the classroom, exploring the dramatic play area, manipulative toys, blocks, and art area. Children also create a teacher led art project at this time. This is followed by a snack, quiet book time, and a game. The remainder of the day is spent in large motor play, outside or in our gymnasium.
