"We believe that God has given your young child fantastic potential for becoming a creative, successful, serving person. During the early years of life, rapid growth takes place and important habits and attitudes are being formed.
We believe the early childhood program must be holistic in nature, dealing with the child's intellectual, emotional, social, physical and spiritual growth. We realize that the primary responsibility for your child's growth and development rests with the parents and normally takes place within the home. At the same time we want these first experiences with school to be a successful beginning to the many years of formal education ahead.
Play is a younger child's work. Through their play, children learn informally many things that will form foundations for later formalized learning. Fun, active play is work and is an important process of learning.
In short, early childhood classes can open young children's awareness of the world created by God and stir their curiosity so that they become eager learners. In this lies our challenge for preschool.
During the years ahead your child will begin the development of self-discipline, cooperative work and play, creative self-expression, group communication, development of coordination and muscle control, as well as many other social and physical growths - all being guided and directed by the love of God, resulting in a love for God and other people.
