Other subjects taught BBC preschool program has a "Can Do" curriculum that I designed which creates self-directed, responsible, and caring kids. Weekly lessons are taught with influences of Montessori and Reggio theories (Ms Jenni has been educated in both theories). We believe a mix of both is almost a perfect balance for a preschool age child. Children need the structure that Montessori lessons bring while still feeding their ever-growing curiosity and creativity that Reggio has to offer during our outside and free play times. We feel it is important to teach children: self-esteem, expression of feeling, empathy to others, perseverance, responsibility, hope (goal setting) and problem-solving abilities - if they think they can't, we want to help them think they can. They can get all this, in addition to still having the comforts that feel like they are at home, and not in a big center.

From the Director:

A child's earliest years include some of the most unique and valuable stages of life. At BBC our most important responsibility is to provide a safe, healthy, nurturing, and responsive setting for your child. BBC is committed to supporting each child's development by recognizing and respecting individual differences and potential.
