Philosophy & Approach

Day in the Life

General School Mission

"Our Curriculum is dedicated to the total development of each child. Our curriculum emerges from children's thinking, activities and interactions from teachers observations, reflections and documentation. Our program is child centered and designed to stimulate and support the child's social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth. We emphasize learning through experience and recognize that play is a child's work.
Our teachers create a caring and nurturing atmosphere where children feel secure, respected, and free to explore and succeed. A variety of developmentally appropriate materials and activities are provided to foster a positive self-concept, develop social skills and create friendships, stimulate language development, enhance fine and gross motor development, encourage children to think, reason, question and experiment, encourage creative expression and appreciation for the arts, develop a sense of independence and responsibility and foster a knowledge of Judaic concepts, traditions and holidays."
