Philosophy & Approach

Day in the Life

General School Mission

"Our primary goal at Four Seasons Creative Learning Center is to provide a safe,
nurturing, educational environment for your child. We recognize that each child
develops at his own, individual pace cognitively, physically, and emotionally. We
believe that the foundation of a successful child care center is built upon the
individualism of each child. Our unique approach to early childhood education
greatly benefits all students in our care.
At our center, students take pride in opportunities to make personal choices
throughout their day. Our classrooms are designed to allow for group interaction,
hands-on activity, and quiet time; all conducive to a natural, meaningful learning
space. Mutual respect is maintained through consistent, open, supportive
communication among students and staff. We believe it is the teacher's
responsibility to facilitate a classroom where confident decision-making can take
place. When students can take credit for making good choices, they increasingly
become self-assured individuals.
At Four Seasons, we believe it is our responsibility to establish and maintain a
classroom environment where each child feels successful when they exit our
doors. To achieve this, we constantly stress the importance of individuality, while
maintaining high standards and holding students accountable for learning. We also
strive to review and reflect on our own methods, and encourage our students to
do the same, regardless of age or ability.
