General School Mission

The Village Cooperative Playgroup is a nonprofit parent-run cooperative for children ages 2-3. Designed as a bridge between home and preschool, your child will spend two mornings a week with other 2 and 3 year olds. As part of this non-profit, parent-run organization, you will participate on a rotating basis with 3 parents, supervising groups of up to 10 children in a variety of activities including free play, crafts, and music. Tuition for the entire year is $400. Babysitting for younger siblings is available. The Village Cooperative Playgroup has been in existence since 1970 with classroom space at the St. Andrews Church in Wellesley. All children should be 2 to 3.3 by September 1st to join.
