General School Mission

The aim of the Needham Playschool is to provide an enriching experience for the nuturing of children outside of their home environment. We encourage intellectual curiosity and eagerness for knowledge. Each child is accepted as an individual and, in a planned program for learning, is encouraged to grow with more independence and self-assurance. We also provide an opportunity for the pre-school child to form satisfactory relationships with other children and adults. In doing this, we hope to provide the educational confidence with which the child willbe equipped to face the challenge of primary school.
