How students are taught is what makes Delphi Academy of Boston truly unique. Classrooms are a whir of well organized activities, in which each student is busily working.

Our strong focus on reading, writing and mathematics gets children off to a great start. It is obvious to see in each classroom the fostering of self-confidence and independence. We strive to ensure each child reaches their full potential.

Philosophy & Approach

School Philosophy

General Approach to Learning: Teacher-Led

From the Director:

We make education real by getting students to use what they learn. We are rewarded daily by seeing a student's competency rise. It is a joy to watch a student who knows they have accomplished something special. Our students receive plenty of personal attention while our curriculum opens a wide world for them to explore. Each day is a new adventure. Be prepared to smile when you visit our classrooms.

Other subjects taught

From the Director:

If one were to describe a school that could provide an excellent education, it would include an academic program which established a rock-solid, basic foundation of reading, writing and arithmetic; one which would make it possible to tackle, with understanding, higher mathematics, the sciences, classical literature, history, logic and more. It would have a personalized approach to students and a low student-teacher ratio. The faculty would be caring, competent, dedicated individuals who approached their work with enthusiasm. It would also include a good physical education program, art, afternoon activities, clubs of various types and community service. There would be a sense of values and a known standard that all students could strive toward. There would be a curriculum that provided the means to attain those standards and a method of teaching and of learning that could guarantee every child would understand and be able to put to use the knowledge he or she is gaining. It would give the students confidence in their ability to tackle anything they desire and the tools they need to succeed. I believe this is what a parent seeks from their investment in their child's education. These attributes are what Delphi Academy strives to achieve. I am frequently found in any given classroom on any given day looking for moments that would make a parent proud and most often find these occurring daily.

Handling Separation: From the Director

We believe you can never start educating a child too soon; starting at age 2 years 9 months our preschool includes reading readiness and hands on math projects. You will see their communication level enhanced by way of basic handwriting and simple language skills. Their wondrous imaginations and playful attitudes are enriched with daily art and physical education – not to mention exciting and adventurous field trips.

Our faculty provides a nurturing, caring and friendly environment allowing your child to grow and expand at their own rate. They are safe to be themselves while they learn living skills from using the playground to zipping their own coat and keeping their body clean.

The emphasis on social skills including manners, sharing and group activities will shine through in your child’s beautiful smile as they interact with their new best friends.
