Philosophy & Approach

Day in the Life

General School Mission

"The Saint Michael School philosophy is to foster the intellectual development of our students both academically and morally, upholding standards of personal integrity, including independent thought, creative expression, perseverance, and honesty, the school creates an environment suited to the growth of the Christian individual. The central message of Christ’s redeeming love pervades every aspect of school life; teachers and students bear witness to the relevance of this
message in the context of contemporary culture via an active response to the call to serve God and others. This commitment to the living mission of the Roman Catholic Church establishes a vital continuum of Christian responsibility from the individual child to the home, parish, and community. Ultimately, the purpose of a St. Michael School education is to fortify our students with the self-esteem and moral conviction necessary to reach outward, proclaim the Word of God, and redress social injustice on a global scale."
