From the Director:
St. Christopher School strives to provide an education permeated with Catholic Christian values, promoting spiritual, moral, intellectual, physical and social growth for our students, Pre-Kindergarten through sixth grade.
Our teacher and the Pre-K assistant work diligently to make sure each child is excelling in school. We use differentiation of the curriculum to guide each student as they learn.
It is our goal to encourage, engage, empower and enrich the lives of every student that attends St. Christopher School. We make the education of young children a priority!
The Pre-K day starts at 8am, but students can be dropped off as early as 7:30am. We begin with Circle Time, have snack, work at our tables, rotate through learning centers and enjoy a small recess or play time. Students who are here for our Pre-K instructional time can dismiss at 10:50am
Some students need care all day, so after lunch and recess those who stay have a rest time, more play time, and another snack. Our school for full day students is dismissed at 3pm. We do offer an Aftercare program until 6pm for those that need more child care.
St. Christopher School seeks to be an extension of our students' homes, challenging them to achieve their potential and helping them to realize their great worth as children of God, capable of making significant contributions at home and throughout the world.
We know starting school can be challenging for any child. We have several parent meetings to discuss and prepare for the first few days. We also host a Get Acquainted Visit day before school starts. This is time for students to bring their supplies, meet the teachers again and become familiar with the classroom.
