"We believe that God has created us and all that exists, but that through our sin
we have separated ourselves from God. God sent His son Jesus to save and
redeem the lost world of sinners; and we believe that we are saved by God’s
grace in Jesus Christ through faith that the Holy Spirit works in us. It is this faith in
Jesus that is the foundation of a Christian’s life. A Christian relates all of his or her
life to their faith in Jesus, and believes that our eternal life has been won for us
Trinity Lutheran School is built on these basic truths. We believe that the teaching
of God’s Word is of central importance for the lives of all people, but particularly
for children. We take seriously God’s command to “train up a child in the way
he should go” and that there is the “one thing needful,” namely knowing Jesus
and believing in Him as our way of gaining eternal life. Trinity Lutheran School
exists primarily for this purpose.
We also exist for the purpose of educating children in the traditional courses of
study and learning in which schools involve themselves. We seek to provide the
very best educational program, and provide this program within a Christian framework,
always relating our studies and work to our Christian faith.
We seek to help each child develop spiritually, morally, emotionally, intellectually,
socially, and physically as fully as possible. Our goal for each child is maximum
personal growth in all of these areas so that the child will mature toward a lifelong
commitment of Christian citizenship and service to God and our fellow man."
