From the Director:
Preschool curriculum to promote school readiness.
Individualization is a requirred part of the Head Start Program. Every child recieves an assessment and goals are determined.
"To empower families and children by offering resources, oppertunities and experiences that contribute to the growth and development of individuals, families and communities."
Developmentally appropriate preschool program including large and small group activities, free play and gross motor. Breakfast, lunch and pm snack are served. Good health practices, such as hand washing and tooth brushing are taught.
Newsletters, home activities, parent involvement including parent meetings and trainings, volunteer opportunities for field trips and classroom activities.
Extra attention until the child is comfortable in a classroom setting.
