We have a great program with several unique features!

King or Glory has a Music and Movement program for all

classes, as well as a new “Think Tank”! (media center

with computers, listening stations, and other electronic learning

games) We offer extended days for our Pre-K students and

Kinder-dance for all ages.

These are all wonderful “extras” you will not

find at any other preschool. Our Lead teachers

all hold a degree in either Early Childhood or Elementary

Education.

We have just begun community registration, and so are now operating

on a first come first serve basis in filling our classes.

I have attached a registration form, and a class information sheet. Should you be interested in registering your child, I would encourage you to do

so as soon as possible.

Additional information is available on our website.

Stimulating the child's interest in the world.

Providing a basis for the development of concepts.
Developing the cognitive processes appropriate to the preschool child, including communication skills.
To help the child develop a sense of self-worth and well-being.
To accustom the child to a varied social environment.
To strengthen the emotional and physical development of the child.
To grow in the knowledge and understanding of God's love and grace."
Excerpted from the preschool's website

A Typical Day

Each day is 9am-1pm, with an extended day option.
The students participate in free play, circle/instruction time, finger plays and songs, snack, craft, centers, large motor play, music and movement class (weekly), computer time (weekly for 4/5 year olds), directed reading activities, and lots of social interaction!

Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

We kick-off each fall with a Parent Orientation evening. Parent's will meet the staff and spend an extended time with their child's teacher.
Our staff will make every effort to make your child's preschool experience the best possibly.

I love my job! Your children are such a blessing!

Separation

Separation is Handled through:

  • Pre-entry meetings with parents at school
  • Extra staff dedicated to handle separation
  • Parents in classroom early on

Handling Separation: From the Director

Transitions can be difficult! We encourage parents to park and walk their students into the building the first day or 2 of school. After that time, the students will leave their parents and walk (with supervision) into the building on their own. Our experience tells us that it is best for children to "leave" you, rather than you leave your child. This is such a wonderful way for your child to build his/her confidence related to his/her school experience as well as the confidence that your will alway return and get him/her!
