Individualized Teaching: From the Director

Teachers work in a group setting but take time with each child individually to work toward each childs individual goals. Parent teacher conferences are held twice a year.

Day Nursery believes that the early years are critical in a child's development. The quality of care and service they receive at this time in their lives will be long lasting importance. All Day Nursery Centers are open to the public.

6:00-7:30am Arrival

9:15-9:30am Restroom/Wash hands
9:30-10:00am AM Snack
10:00-10:15am Circle/Group Time
10:15-10:30am Small Group activity (Writing/ABC Centers)
10:30-11:00am Outside Time
11:00-11:30 am Learning Centers
11:30-12:15 Lunch
12:15- 12:30pm Restrooms/Wash Hands
12:30-2:30pm Rest time

Daily progress reports and also parent/teacher meeting twice a year.


Separation is Handled through:

  • Extra staff dedicated to handle separation
  • Parents in classroom early on

Handling Separation: From the Director

Pictures of families in cubbies and around the room. We have also made them their own book with pictures of mommy dropping off, playing at school, and mommy returning. Along with lots of comfort and love.
