From the Director:

Our environment is our curriculum. The environment is changed monthly to enhance the child's enthusiasm for learning. We use the hands on approach to build the child's confidence and to let them experiment on their own.

Quality of Teaching

Individualized Teaching: From the Director

The children are given an example or a demonstration and then encouraged to experiment on their own. Encouragement is the key to learning. Focus on the positive at all times.

Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

We have an open house at the beginning of the school year. Parent teacher conferences are offered twice a year. Any concerns by the parents or staff can be addressed at any time by phone, in person, or by email.

Separation is Handled through:

  • Pre-entry meetings with parents at school
  • Small group sessions
  • Extra staff dedicated to handle separation
  • Parents in classroom early on

Handling Separation: From the Director

Every situation is different. Sometimes the parents are encouraged to stay and join in. Sometimes it is better for the parent to leave and the child will be distracted with a new activity or fun game with a staff member. Being familiar with the school and the staff is a key element to the child's success when beginning a new program. Parents and children are encouraged to visit at any time before they begin.
