General Approach to Learning: Play-Based

From the Director:

Children learn best through play and investigation, so our classrooms are set up to encourage both. Most important is the fact that this is a Christian preschool where children learn of God's great love for us, shown to us through His son Jesus.

Other subjects taught Christian education is an important part of the entire day. There is a specific "Jesus Time" each morning, we pray together during the morning, and children begin to understand the concept of forgiveness as they interact with each other.

General School Mission

Christ Lutheran Learning Center exists to share the Gospel of our Lord within an age-appropriate, play-based preschool environment.

A Typical Day

The morning begins with a long period of free choice. There are many toys,art materials, books and blocks available. Some group activities are Jesus time and story time. Every day the children either go outside or to our Bike Room for the chance to run, throw, ride bikes and otherwise use their muscles.

Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

Teachers are always available to talk briefly before and after school, or at more length by phone or email or at a specially scheduled conference. Regular parent conferences are held in the fall and spring.
