From the Director:

We believe children learn through their play. We treasure the gift of helping guide their skill development and helping them become life long learners. Offering positive school experiences with loving, caring teachers who are dedicated to Early Childhood Education is such a joy in this preschool ministry.

Quality of Teaching

Individualized Teaching: From the Director

Being a small Christian preschool, with wonderful teacher/child ratios we are able to share a curriculum that helps foster positive class interactions and ample play-based time for group and friend interactions with both teacher led and one-on-one opportunities for strengthening age appropriate skills and kindergarten readiness. The variety of these experiences are easily applied to various ages and developmental levels.

Day in the Life

General School Mission

The primary goal is to provide children with a preschool experience in which they can progress at their own pace, develop a positive sense of self, and engage in activities designed to enhance social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual development.

Children learn through exploration, experimentation, practice and interaction with others. They learn about God's role in everyday life through example, problem-solving, social interaction, stories, songs and prayer before meals.

A Typical Day

Please call the school for specific daily routines for our
half-day preschool classes and our all-day class formats. 630-469-6219.

Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

Daily interaction with parents and staff helps build relationships in which to share the joys of each child's progress and daily school experiences. Parent Teacher conferences provide a more formal chance to discuss all areas of a child's development and path for learning. Monthly newsletters, a hands-on director and dedicated families and staff help keep the bridge from home to school strong.

Separation

Separation is Handled through:

  • Pre-entry meetings with parents at school
  • Extra staff dedicated to handle separation
  • Abbreviated schedule at start of school year

Handling Separation: From the Director

Tailored plans are created for each individual as separation needs are so unique with each child and family. We want the school acclimation process to be smooth and joyful for everyone. We try to be proactive by sharing support and ideas for positive school starts from registration time throughout the year. Being flexible and adaptive to any given reaction or situation is key to maintaining smiles and comfort each day.
