Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

We communicate school-wide information with an monthly e-newsletter to all parents. Each class day, instructors communticate to parents by posting outside the classroom door the day's activities such as storys, games, crafts, student leaders, and songs that were sung. Instructors email to parents bi-monthly updates on what is going on in the classroom and informing them of current events.

Separation

Separation is Handled through:

  • Pre-entry meetings with parents at school
  • Extra staff dedicated to handle separation

Handling Separation: From the Director

We offer teacher meet and greets prior to the start of the school year and we also have several open houses for children and parent to attend. We provide extra staff for the younger age groups to help comfort those children who are struggling with separation. Each child's separation anxiety is handled by working with the parent co-operatively.
