Sonshine Christian Preschool is a Christ centered preschool that delivers a balance of academics and play based learning for your child's early childhood education. We offer a dedicated and caring staff of teachers that are excited to teach the children and support the parents as well.

The children are consistently encouraged by the teachers to explore their world. Teachers provide opportunities for the children to test, predict and experiment while being exposed to expanded vocabulary and concepts.

Day in the Life

General School Mission

Sonshine Christian Preschool uses a whole child approach to teaching children ages 3 to 5 years of age. Our program encourages the children to explore their creative abilities, develop their social skills, and expand their awareness of self.

We offer Tuesday/Thursday morning classes for 3 yr. olds.
Monday/Wednesday/Friday classes for 4 year olds.
5 day a week afternoon, Monday through Friday classes for 4 year old enrichment. (Additionally, the afternoon 4 yr. old class may sign up for 3 days or 2 days only.)
We would love for you to visit us for a tour of our school. A chance for you and your child to experience our warm and personal approach to your child's early learning.

Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

Parents are routinely provided with information regarding their child and his or her progress. We hold 2 conferences per year, however we aim to give each parent verbal information either at drop off or pick-up daily. Teachers will ask to meet with a parent at any time if necessary. If any parent has a question or concern it is handled immediately. Parents are encouraged to ask for a meeting at anytime if they have concerns or questions.

Handling Separation: From the Director

The first couple of days of school can be difficult. The teachers priority is comfort and reassure the children and concerned parents as well.

Upon request, a parent can receive an update during the first day of school regarding how their child is adapting.
