Day in the Life

General School Mission

Our mission is to develop, in partnership with the family, the preschool child's social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spirtual growth from a Biblical point of view through a hands -on developmentally appropriate curriculum.

A Typical Day

Each day of a child's life is viewed as leading toward growth and development of a healthy, intelligent and contributing member of society.

Each class has its own schedule that meets the needs of the class. Each day is filled with times for linguistic, mathmatical, musical, naturalistic, bodily kinesthestic, visual, spiritual, introspective and intraspective activities. Healthy snacks are also served daily.

Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

We value communication with the home and look for any opporunity to connect. We do this though newsletters, meeting parents personally both before and after class, writing updates on FaceBook and having semi-annual conferences. We also offer mulitple opportunities for families to connect at different times during celebrations and special service projects.

Separation is Handled through:

  • Pre-entry meetings with parents at school
  • Extra staff dedicated to handle separation

Handling Separation: From the Director

We understand that seperation can be hard for a young child and also for the parent. We will work individually with any situation to come up with plan that will be most successful. We encourage parents to be positive with their children and help them anticipate that school will be a fun and safe place to go. If a child is not adjusting well, we will communicate options to the parents.
